The Data Protection Competition is now open! Until the 15th January teachers and young people aged 15 to 19 years are invited to share their thoughts and concerns about online privacy by creating a 30-90 seconds video on the theme "Surf the net - Think privacy!" and uploading it on the online gallery at www.dataprotectionday.eu. The best videos will be rewarded on the Data Protection Day (28 January 2009) in Brussels.

European Schoolnet, as the eTwinning Central Support Service, just launched a revised version of the eTwinning portal. Since its launch in 2005, eTwinning has been continuously improved, this revision confirms the position of eTwinning as a community-oriented portal.

European Schoolnet is conducting research on behalf of the European Commission into the effective use of ICT in primary schools. Eurocompetition, the poster competition for kids to celebrate the euro tenth anniversary, is now open!
